Quality Control - Peer Review
The Peer Review Program by the AICPA requires a firm is adhere to quality control standards set by the AICPA. As an experienced peer review firm, Anjay Accountax will review your quality control systems and determine if your firm is operating to the highest accounting standards. Our expert close analysis of your existing quality control methods will determine the effectiveness of internal control methods and we then share our approach to improving them. Our objective is to provide you with the necessary information, feedback and recommendations to continue a quality and effective CPA practice.
Engagement Review
A Engagement review is conducted for a firm that is that is performing services under statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs) or certain services like review engagements and Agreed-Upon Procedure Engagements. An Engagement Review is review of core accounting work such has accounting reports, reviews and compilations. An engagement review is conducted to determine whether the reviewed engagements of the firm are performed and reported in accordance to professional standards in all material respects.
System Review
The system review helps determine whether the firm is complying with the system of quality control to the standards of the AICPA. A firm should undergo a system review if it conducts engagements under the Statements on Auditing Standards (SASs), Government Auditing Standards (GAS) and or examinations under Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs) or PCAOB standards. A system review is conducted to determine whether the system of quality control of the firm is designed to insure the accounting and audit practice provides reasonable assurance regarding its performance and reporting in accordance with professional standards.
Pre-Issuance Review
Part of the Peer Review program, a Pre-Issuance Review is a comprehensive review of audit work papers and reports to assess the compliance with all professional standards and the firm's quality control policies and procedures. Learn More
Monitoring Inspection
According to Accounting and auditing standards, CPA Firms are required to perform annual internal monitoring and inspection of their quality control systems. Monitoring and Inspection allows firms to understand if their polices and procedures are performing to all applicable professional standards. Performing a monitoring inspection will help prepare a firm for its annual peer review.
